Sale conditions of wood are specified by the regulation of Director – General of the Sate Forests.
Within the framework of the individual sale , the foresters try to meet the fast growing demand, because more and more people use wood in order to heat their houses. Contrary to general opinion, these are not only village people, even though they prevail among recipients. The growth of firewood demand is the result of occurrence of new housing estates built in the suburbs of large agglomerations, where houses are usually equipped in fireplace heating installations.
Firewood is not only the most ecological heat source, but also is much more attractive in respect of relation of price and electric efficiency, rather than cola, oil, gas or electric power.
In recent years, the Sate Forests increased the sale of firewood of one third – up to over 4 million cubic meters annually. Some of customers choose already prepared and cut into pieces wood, the others very willingly obtain it by themselves after arranging all details and fulfilling particular safety conditions, and after paying the fee; that concerns mainly so called "thinnings". Such a raw material is very cheap, that is why many people from village areas profit from such possibility.

VIII Bieg Wiosny Tustań 2025
W niedzielę 6 kwietnia 2025 r. na terenie Nadleśnictwa Płońsk, w Leśnictwie Tustań, po raz ósmy odbył się Bieg Wiosny Tustań 2025 organizowany przez Samorząd Gminy Naruszewo, przy współpracy z Nadleśnictwem Płońsk, Mazowieckim Bankiem Spółdzielczym w Łomiankach o. w Naruszewie oraz Klubem Biegacza im. Piotra Sekowskiego w Płońsku.
Na listy startowe wpisało się blisko 200 zawodniczek i zawodników. Biegi i marsz, mimo wietrznej pogody i niskiej temperatury odbyły się w miłej atmosferze, zaś uroku rywalizacji dodawało otoczenie budzącej się do życia wiosennej przyrody. Koło Gospodyń Wiejskich
i pracownicy Gminy Naruszewo zadbali o to, by nikt z uczestniczących – sportowców, kibiców czy organizatorów nie czuł głodu i chłodu, ponieważ pod namiotami można było napić się gorących napojów, skosztować przygotowanych specjalnie na tę okoliczność lokalnych specjałów, m.in.: przecieraków, kartoflaka, bigosu czy zupy jarzynowej.
Zawody podzielone były na 2 kategorie – biegi i marsz Nordic Walking. Biegi zorganizowane zostały na dystansach 2,5 oraz 10 km, natomiast marsz nordic walking - na dystansie 5 km. Pamiątkowe medale otrzymali wszyscy uczestnicy biegów i marszu, zaś strefa medalowa została uhonorowana również nagrodami rzeczowymi.
Statuetki i nagrody najlepszym zawodnikom wręczali Pani Beata Pierścińska - Wójt Gminy Naruszewo, Pan Wojciech Kała - Nadleśniczy Nadleśnictwa Płońsk oraz Pani Anna Fronczak
z Naruszewskiego Oddziału Mazowieckiego Banku Spółdzielczego w Łomiankach.
